Specialized cushioned football pitch turf for the Petroleum Development of Oman School

OVERVIEW
For the new PDO School at Ras Al Hamra the client required a specialized football pitch turf.

SOLUTION
The Khimji Ramdas Sports & Fitness team proposed a German artificial turf underlaid with a 10mm rubber shock pad. This additional cushioning would help minimize injuries for the school children and also saved the cost of laying an asphalt or concrete sub-base.

RESULT
The project was awarded to us for our value engineered solution using a quality product.

CONCLUSION
We were able to provide a cost effective specialized solution without compromising on quality while enhancing safety parameters.
