The supply, installation, commissioning and training of an advanced Motor Vehicle Inspection System (MVIS)

OVERVIEW
The Royal Oman Police had put out a tender calling for new systems to test the roadworthiness of vehicle – a vital part of the road safety drive.

SOLUTION
The Khimji Ramdas Engineering Products & Services division with its internationally renowned partner MAHA GmbH met the tender with a proposal to install innovative brake testing systems and vehicle safety testing technology as a one stop solution with ongoing technical back up, training and support.

RESULT
More than 40 stations (over 100 vehicle testing lanes) and two mobile test lanes were installed and commissioned.

CONCLUSION
The Royal Oman Police are satisfied with the products and service and all their stations are using our MVIS equipment for safety checks of vehicles.
